2nd year: 6-day onsite practical workshop


Daily routine program:

6.30 am - 8 am Early morning special session (day 2, 4, 5)
lead by Prof. Pasang Y. Arya T. Sherpa
•    Meditation
•    Rlungro gutrug (nine cycle respiration practice)
•    Tibetan Tantric body-mind and humor balancing yoga.

9 am - 12 pm Morning sessions (day 1, 2, 4, 5) - Prof. Pasang Y. Arya T. Sherpa
Basic diagnostic and pulse practical training with patients:

•    Pulse reading (rtsala brtagpa)
•    Urine analysis (chu la brtag pa)
•    Tongue diagnosis (lce la brtag pa) and related diagnostic methods
•    Question-answer and discussion

2 pm - 5.30 pm Afternoon session (day 1, 2, 4, 5) - Prof. Pasang Y. Arya T. Sherpa

Moning:
Short introduction on etiology and practical training for the Tibetan medical diagnosis

Tibetan Pulse reading (rtsala brtagpa): preliminary study and training

  • Preliminary information for the patient and pulse reader
  • Training the technique of pulse reading (explanation, practical demonstration and training in pulse reading)

  • Hor-me therapy (hor gi me btsa’)

  • Pulse reading training and visual diagnosis training with patients
  • Urine analysis training (chu la brtagpa)

  • Warm salt pack fomentation (tsha’i dugs)
  • Warm and cold stones fomentation practice and techniques (rdo dugs)

  • Ku-nye Tibetan Massage therapy, learning and practice . 1st level - Ms. Jutta Padrun


4th day training

  • Suggestion of behavior and life style regimen (spyod lam gyi bcos thabs)
  • Possibility of treating disease by various external and internal therapies (dpyad bcos)

    Part 2: Zubtsug Points, (head, arm and hands and legs)

  • Revision of the diagnosis and methods of treatment (ned brtag thabs la bskyar sbyong byed pa)
