1st day training

Gathering of all the participants

Short introduction on etiology and practical training for the Tibetan medical diagnosis

Tibetan Pulse reading (rtsala brtagpa): preliminary study and training

  • Preliminary information for the patient and pulse reader
  • Training the technique of pulse reading (explanation, practical demonstration and training in pulse reading)
    • Importance of the time of pulse reading
    • Location of the pulse reading
    • Pressure of the pulse reading
    • Organs and pulse reading
    • Three natural pulses
    • Introduction of the seasonal pulse reading
    • Healthy and unhealthy pulses
    • The two principal pathology pulses: fever and cold diseases
    • General and specific pulses (prognosis, mental disturbed pulse (spirit interferences), life pulse, …)

Short introduction to the treatment techniques: learning and practice

  • Hor-me therapy (hor gi me btsa’)
  • Warm salt pack fomentation (tsha’i dugs)
  • Warm and cold stones fomentation practice and techniques (rdo dugs)

Traditional Tibetan visual diagnosis study and training (mig gis ltawa)

  • General and specific tongue diagnosis (lce la brtagpa)
  • Ear vein reading and practice (rna la brtagpa)
  • Eyes vein general and specific reading (mig bkra brtagpa)
  • Urine analysis (chu la brtagpa)


4th day training

  • Ku-nye Tibetan Massage therapy, learning and practice . 1st level - Ms. Jutta Padrun
  • Hot and cold bath therapy (chutsan dang chu bocs) - Prof. Pasang Y. Arya T. Sherpa

 

5th day training - Prof. Pasang Y. Arya T. Sherpa

  • Traditional Tibetan Moxibustion (me btsa’)
    Part 1: back and front, learning and practice

 

6th day   examination

General and specific questions and answers related with the subjects.

  • Examination (written, oral and practical)
  • Results announcement
    • Graduation ceremony

1st day training

Theme: learning and practice on Traditional Tibetan Medical diagnosis, practice and treatment (bcos thabs)
Practice on

  • Prescribing the herbal products and their uses (sman bcos)
  • Advising nutrition and dietetic regimen (zas bcos)
  • Suggestion of behavior and life style regimen (spyod lam gyi bcos thabs)
  • Possibility of treating disease by various external and internal therapies (dpyad bcos)



2nd day training

Learning and practice

  • Tibetan traditional Moxibustion (me btsa’)and practice
    Part 2: Zubtsug Points, (head, arm and hands and legs)
  • Hot cupping therapy and practice (me bum)
  • Golden needle therapy (gser khab)



3rd day training - Ms. Jutta Padrun

  • Ku-nye Tibetan Massage therapy, learning and practice. 2nd level

Body mind medicine: learning and practice

  • Respiration and relaxation (rlung ro bsal shing bag phebs thabs)
  • Meditation (sgom)
  • Visualization (dmigspa byed thabs)
  • Medicine Buddha practice (sman bla’i sgom bzlas)
  • Healing mantras (ned sel gzung sngags zla wa)



5th day training

  • Tibetan tantric healing yoga and yoga therapy (yoga’i ‘khrul ‘khor gyis ned bcos thabs) learning and practice
  • Revision of the diagnosis and methods of treatment (ned brtag thabs la bskyar sbyong byed pa)



6th day examination
