Medicine Buddha Hall
The Medicine Buddha Hall, located in Milano, in Dr. Pasang Y. Arya’s house, is dedicated to Buddha’s healing art, taught with traditional concept and practice. It is used for Medicine Buddha practice, meditation, medicine course, and other spiritual gatherings. Medicine Buddha sutra practice and meditation as well as healing rituals are often held there with Tibetan monks. The hall accommodates a Medicine Buddha statue (36 cm), which has been brought from Nepal. We have a great wish to bring back the other seven Medicine Buddhas too. There is also a small and starting collection of books on Tibetan Medicine aimed for a future library for the study of Tibetan healing and medical science in the West, as well as a small herbarium and numerous ingredients collected for the research and study of Tibetan Medicine.
